PRODUCT CONSERVATION
Storage Condit, under the following storage conditions, sugar presents a stable behavior for periods of 2 years, during which time the product must not present any type of alteration:
Relative humidity (%): 55 - 65
Temperature: 2°C above ambient temperature
Preferably condition a humidity regulating system.
Security in Storage, Sugar sacks must be protected from moisture, fire, sparks, cigarette butts, and pests that damage the packaging material. In case of fire, put it out with a multipurpose fire extinguisher.
Sugar is a combustible material; It must not be dropped on elements that start combustion (sparks, cigarette butts, etc.)
Packaging, the sugar is packed in presentations of 50 kg in paper bags, laminated polypropylene bags, and polyethylene bags inside polypropylene bags; Family sugar packaging is done in high-density polyethylene bags.
Packaging characteristics:
The packaging has seams or seals at both ends.
There is no risk when handling empty packaging or reusing it with other materials.
CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE
- International Transportation by Containers and or Bulk Carrier Vessels, Local Transportation by Transport in vehicles with bodywork or a tent that protects the product from the rain. The vehicle must be clean and free of moisture. Avoid placing combustible or flammable objects on the bags. Avoid letting the bags come into contact with sharp objects.
